A clear path for your files
We process the document to produce the output you requested. We do not automatically send that output to an AI assistant, email recipient or other external service. You decide what to do with your downloaded copy.
How the 24-hour rule works
Completed and failed tasks become eligible for cleanup 24 hours after their final update. Cleanup runs every minute and includes task outputs, temporary processing files and OCR caches. A service interruption can delay cleanup until the service resumes.
Tasks still being processed are kept until they finish. A source file reused by another retained task stays available until the last related task expires. Files uploaded without creating a task become eligible after 24 hours. Deployment backups exclude uploaded documents and processing artifacts.
Your session and your result
Keep your browser session or API key available until you have downloaded the result. A different visitor cannot read your task using its ID alone. Administrative access is limited to operating and troubleshooting the service.
Current trial connection
The official service at https://redacttool.app encrypts uploads and downloads with HTTPS. The legacy IP trial address remains available for existing sessions; use the official domain for new work.
